Walking To Fight Animal Cruelty
On Sunday May 18 in Bonython Park, RSPCA’s “Million Paws Walk” is taking place in an effort to raise funds for the amazing work that they do around Australia.
Starting at 10:00am, there will be entertainment, displays, stalls, giveaways and a host of other activities for you and your four legged friends.
$12,967 has already been raised for the walk, with the target set at $112,500.
In the 2012-2013 financial year, the RSPCA received 126,673 animals across Australia.
Whilst the total amount of animals received is declining each year and the number of re-homing inclining, the RSPCA still needs your help.
