EVENTS – Gear Up Festival

Who said orientation for university had to be boring?

Forget what thought you knew about orientation week because Gear Up 2014 is the only way to end your summer. Indie darlings San Cisco, the psychedelic Pond and Deep Sea Arcade will headline the UniSA music festival on February 28.

San Cisco will bring the surfer vibes with their sun kissed pop while Pond will make your head spin in a haze of psych-rock. The mesmerising Deep Sea Arcade deliver a feel good blend of reverberated pop. Local Adelaide talent hasn’t been forgotten with electro-rock band The Killgirls, Valkyries and UniSA’s very own Dead End Friends also on the line up.

If that is not enough to impress you there will also be local DJs, a silent disco, food trucks, roving street performers and secret chill-out spaces. This is just the first line up with more exciting acts to be announced soon. Make sure to keep your eyes peeled for a massive secret headliner which will be revealed early February.

Tickets are on sale now for $12+bf for UniSA students and $50+bf for everyone else via Moshtix.
