‘Shorts’ Are Always Better

Short films are usually made by independent filmmakers and quite often do not generate funds from them. They are usually very low budget or no budget at all; but the short films that exist today can be just as captivating as a full feature film. A short film is considered any film that runs for 40 minutes or less; any more and it would be classified as a feature film. They are usually shot on location, sometimes on sets and also they are often animated.

Most of these short films are from an Australian initiated short film festival called Tropfest, which is held in Sydney every year.  Over the past few days we’ve been surfing the internet to bring you ten short films that you probably haven’t seen. *They are in no particular order.

1. “The Unusual Suspects” Directed by Steve Mitchell
