A Big Future is Coming for Stock Exchange<\/h3>\n

Adelaide Hills quintet Stock Exchange has released their long awaited single \u201cFeels\u201d worldwide on iTunes and Spotify. Already a fan-favorite, the single follows up their sold out and out-of-print 2011 EP \u201cCasino\u201d. Paying a twisted homage to \u201cTake 5\u201d, the self-produced track makes a typically unconventional use of odd time signatures and a dusty century-old upright piano. <\/span><\/p>\n

It is the first taste of their upcoming \u201cMr. Hollywood\u201d EP, scheduled for release in the middle of the year. In the meantime the group are planning an Australian tour, whilst hard at work preparing their debut album for release in 2014. <\/span><\/p>\n

Stock Exchange have already won praise from the likes of Triple J\u2019s Dom Alessio along with various online publications; and have become an in-demand live band in Adelaide having supported the likes of Bonjah and Stonefield, along with packing out venues in their own right.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Triple J Unearthed band,\u00a0who are based in the Adelaide Hills, regularly play at venues such as The Exeter, The Crown and Anchor and \u2018The Gov\u2019. Their Indie Rock sound is thrown together with harmonic vocals from lead singer and front man\u00a0Richard Sallis,\u00a0<\/em>to produce an alternative and unique sound, unlike most modern music.\u00a0<\/span>Their\u00a0d\u00e9but\u00a0single titled ‘Feels’ was released in late March. With the drums recorded in Lochrian studios, and the rest at Richard’s house, ‘Feels’ is definitely one of their best; following in the footsteps of ‘The City’ and ‘Casino’. The use of the 5\/4 beat and the piano in ‘Feels’ definitely sells it for me, and combined with Richard’s vocals never fails to impress.<\/span><\/p>\n
