I don’t know how many times the word ‘food’ can appear on a page without making you hungry, but here at Ezra Magazine, we have decided to don on our napkins and taste test what Adelaide and South Australia has to offer. But instead of wearing white-coats and parading around town\u00a0critiquing\u00a0every chip and every burger we try, we’re here to recommend to you what tastes great and where you can find it. This list will constantly be updated as time goes on, ranging from burger places, schnitzels plus Asian and Indian cuisine.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Adelaide and the surrounding areas are bursting with a vibrant food-culture, so read on and eat up!<\/span><\/p>\n

Located in the heart of The Parade, Norwood, this American-esque venue boasts a delicious menu of all things burgers, hotdogs and scrumptious chips. Cooked right in-front of you, we recommend the American, which is beef, salad, mustard and tomato. The bread is soft and fresh, the meat is cooked to perfection + the combination of mustard and tomato mixes well for a hunger-cure. Also if you’re feeling adventurous and super hungry + thirsty, why not try some wavy-chips plus a milkshake to top the feast off? Delish!<\/span><\/p>\n

Chocolate is everybody’s love\/hate food; you either love it or you hate it…or you want to hate it. At the end of the day, the world still has chocolate and we suggest to try some at Cocolat, which is located on Rundle St East, and is a perfect location for relaxing in the sun on a Sunday afternoon. So what’s delicious there? Everything, but if we had to choose it would probably have to be the ‘Harry Hazelnut’ chocolate torte. It has a creamy chocolate mouse inside, it’s coated with ganache then surrounded by chocolate shards. If you want a reason to go to the gym, it’s probably this. But who cares, eat it and enjoy it!<\/span><\/p>\n

Handmade South Australian chocolate. It’s delicious, it’s yum, it’s chocolate. They also specialise in coffee and other desserts such as cakes and tidbits, perfect for a delicate and tasty treat to\u00a0satisfy\u00a0those chocolate cravings.\u00a0We recommend trying their chocolate Brownie which is gluten free. It has\u00a0<\/span>melted\u00a0chocolate, hokey pokey ice cream and is\u00a0<\/span>garnished with nuts.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Whether you’re looking to eat in or take away, Charminar offers a sweet selection of Indian cuisine. We recommend ordering the butter chicken with a bowl of rice, perfect for dinner or for lunch. If you’re looking for a little extra, butter chicken, a bowl of rice and a garlic naan will set you back $20 for take away. They’re decent sized servings, the creaminess of the butter chicken will have you scraping every last drop of the sauce, and it’s super yummy to reheat for lunch the next day.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
