We welcomed the long awaited return of old favourites, discovered debuts from some promising musicians, creative boundaries were pushed and genre barriers broken. These are just a few of the incredible releases April has to offer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\"><strong>Paramore &#8211; \u2018Paramore\u2019<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">After a three year break, Paramore are back with a seventeen track record, filled with electro-rock, ukulele interludes and gospel choir. Unpredictable and fun, \u201cParamore\u201d delves into themes of growing up and moving on. From the funky \u201cAin\u2019t Fun\u201d to the sweet, love song \u201cStill Into You\u201d, this record unlike anything the band has ever released before. However, tracks such as the punk fueled \u201cAnklebiters\u201d and \u201cBe Alone\u201d prove Paramore still know how to rock. Producer Justin Medal-Johnson has pushed the trio to explore new sounds resulting in their most experimental and uplifting record yet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/ezramag.files.wordpress.com\/2013\/04\/james-blake-overgrown-608x607.jpg\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-970\" alt=\"James-Blake-Overgrown-608x607\" src=\"http:\/\/ezramag.files.wordpress.com\/2013\/04\/james-blake-overgrown-608x607.jpg?w=470\" width=\"470\" height=\"469\" \/><\/span><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\"><strong>James Blake &#8211; \u2018Overgrown\u2019<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">British electronic music producer and singer-song writer James Blake, is breaking all the rules with his latest release \u2018Overgrown\u2019. Follow up to his 2011 self-titled debut; \u2018Overgrown\u2019 infuses dup step, R&amp;B, gospel and an array of genres to produce one of the most inventive albums of 2013. Lead single \u201cRetrograde\u201d is an emotive and heartfelt ballad. Sustained synths build the tension and Blake proclaims, \u201c<i>Suddenly I\u2019m hit, is this darkness of the dawn?\u201d <\/i>Blake\u2019s sultry vocals will captivate you on tracks such as the haunting \u201cI Am Sold\u201d, and \u201cDLM\u201d beautifully showcases his abilities as a classically trained pianist. If that wasn\u2019t enough excitement for one day they also announced a new album, tour and released their first single. &#8216;Save Rock and Roll&#8217; offers anthemic choruses, heavy synth and some surprising guests such as Elton John and Courtney Love. It will have you singing along at the top of your lungs to \u201cYoung Volcanoes\u201d and \u201cWhere Did The Party Go\u201d and reminiscing on \u201cSave Rock and Roll\u201d. Fall Out Boy may not be the same band that started out playing fast paced pop-punk music in 2003; they have grown up, developed their sound and continued to make great music which they are proud of. Produced by Markus Dravs (Mumford and Sons\u2019 \u2018Sigh No More\u2019 and Coldplay\u2019s \u2018Mylo Xyloto\u2019), this record has been five years in the making. Full of catchy choruses and heavenly vocals, \u2018Absolute Zero\u2019 explores love and life. Youthful opening track \u201cHarper Lee\u201d has enough five part harmonies to put a smile on anyone\u2019s face and sombre, piano based track \u201cThe Kitchen Floor\u201d beautifully blends female and male vocals. Little Green Cars make the kind of joyful music you can listen to over and over again.
